About Us
Jenny began thinking about design as a child while bargain hunting with her grandmother who sought out treasures at weekend garage sales. Grandmother also taught her to refinish furniture and was always coming up with crafty projects.
Jenny decided to take a drafting class in high school, which led to an Industrial Arts degree from North Texas State University where she focused on architecture, cabinetry, furniture, and construction. From there she worked on residential design with clients while also a co-owner of a retail flooring store.
After a break from interiors with a different kind of design career, Jenny returned to her passion with a certificate of interior design from Parsons New School of Design in New York, and a green building certificate from San Diego State University. She has been designing in Austin for several years along with continuing her education, networking, and meeting with professional organizations (Interior Design Society, National Association of Remodeling, Design Trade Associates, US Green Building Council).
When not designing, Jenny enjoys the arts and hiking with her friends. She especially enjoys spending time with her two sons, her granddaughter, and two grand dogs here in Austin.
