The living space in this retirement villa was too small. The walls were rearranged to include the covered porch adjacent to the living room as added square footage and the storage closet became a media center. The adjoining wall to the bedroom closet was pushed to increase the closet size two-fold (see red lines in floorplan). A new glass slider and window provided natural lighting to brighten the room.
